Calendars

In math this week we are looking at how calendars help us keep track of days, weeks and months and how they help us keep appointments and remind us of important days in our lives, cultures and history.

We are trying to learn by heart the 30 Days Hath September poem,

solve problems that require the use of a calendar and learn calendar tricks (from murderousmaths) that we can impress our parents and friends with.

Do you know how to tell when the next Leap Year is or what important sporting event is held every Leap Year?
