NYLD//13

A number of boys were chosen to attend the National Young Leaders Day in Palmerston North.  They were then asked to reflect on what they had learnt and present it.  Below are the start of the reflections.

Motivation

As part of our trip to Wellington the boys had to make motivational posters, using photos of themselves at Adrenalin Forest, Ice Skating, or Kayaking.

The Aztec Twins

This group of boys have read a mystery of the theft of the Aztec Twins - two stone statues standing about 3 feet high.  They were then to produce a comic strip, on their iPads, of the clues used to solve the crime (there were not many clues).

Warning Signs

Jakahn has read a mystery that involved a cat and two girls scared by the strange noises it made.  Had the cat not escaped from the camp in a campers sleeping bag, none of the problems would have eventuated.  Jakahn has made a sign for the camp to put up.

Surveillance Cameras

This group of boys have been reading about surveillance cameras. We have had some interesting discussions about surveillance equipment and people's rights to privacy.

Below are their advertisements for security equipment.
